Our mission — to protect the people and communities of Northern Europe by enhancing the region’s capabilities to handle potential or actual natural disasters, terrorism, grey zone conflicts, military actions, or other man-made catastrophes.

CIREN – Civilian Resilience Nordic is a North European NGO with a mission to protect communities in Northern Europe by improving the regional capability to mitigate against, prepare for, respond to, and recover from threatened or actual natural disasters, terror, grey-zone and military activity, or other man-made disasters, supported by greater resilience of businesses, civil societies, and the public sector.

We invite companies and individuals to share our mission to actively contribute to resilience across Northern Europe. Companies are eligible join and support CIREN through one of three membership categories, based on their level of involvement. Graduates of CIREN-accredited programs are eligible to join CIREN as individual members.
